ARTIST MADHURA PAWAR;
Artist Madhura Pawar is a professional Indian Artist from Maharashtra, India and also the Founder & Owner of PAM Decora Art Classes.
She says: I am Professional & exploratory artist who enjoys paintings of different styles. In my art, I mostly capture the beauty of dots, lines and textures. My primary style is abstract painting using figures and Print Making is my favourite. I use various textures and creative techniques with various mediums like oil acrylic watercolours etc. I have displayed my artwork in diverse categories like Abstract, Semi Figurative paintings, Murals and Print making in national and international level exhibitions.
I enjoy sharing the knowledge and do conduct specialised art classes for both adults and kids.
My personal style shows joy, peace and expresses the vibrant spirit and atmosphere. Landscapes, flowers, Nature, Portraits, all brought to life with contrast and bright colours and bold compositions
My love and passion for art started back in my childhood when my parents inspired me. My mother is an artist and my father was in business of making gift articles, murals, waterfalls.
Since I grew up in this environment, I also persuaded my education in arts field and did G.D Art in Drawing and Painting from Pune in year 2003.
As a novice artist, my initial career was not very exciting. I had to undergo lots of struggle to position my art in exhibitions. I participated various exhibitions and group shows, but there was not much encouraging response from any of those events. This had pulled down my moral and I was even at the verge of leaving painting. However, due to strong support from my mother, I continued to participate in various group shows and art exhibitions where I got opportunity to not only display my artwork but also learn from various professional artists along with whom my artwork were displayed.
From year 2004, I founded PAM Decora Art Classes where I conducted art and craft classes for kids and adults. As part of PAM Decora Art Classes conducted Inter-school drawing competition in the year 2006 with over 6 schools active participation. (Podar international school, City international school, D.Y Patil Public School etc)
I also conducted specialised coaching for elementary and intermediate grade exams.
Conducted courses for Chemical mural, fabric painting, t-shirt painting, oil on canvas, Madhubani, warli, parchment, bead work, jewellery making, ceramic painting, nib painting, embossing, landscape painting, knife painting etc.
Specialized coaching for kids age 3 to 15 where I covered understanding importance of line work and colors, drawing with shapes and alphabets, drawing birds, animals, vehicles, different color shading techniques, memory drawing, different techniques of painting, pencil shading, water colors, poster colors, oil pastels etc.
Along with coaching, I also conduct summer camps for all the age group kids where I focus on developing their creativity by introducing them to history of art via stories and hands on activities in drawing and craft. I cover palm painting, thumb painting, acrylic painting, oil painting, canvas painting, cloth painting, block printing, spray painting, vegetable printing, thread painting, charcoal shading. And on craft side I cover origami, glitter, beads and mirror work, clay work, pulse work, match sticks and ice cream sticks work, pulse work, paper collage, sponge work, wool work, pot painting, different types of paper craft, Cone work, calligraphy etc.
Later in my career, I also been associated with multiple schools as Art & craft teacher.
Since 2018, I fully dedicated myself for exploring the world of Art and became a full time professional artist.
So far, I have participated in over 20+ group shows, national & international exhibitions and solo shows.
In my 2 decade journey, I have seen many ups and downs, met various people some were motivating and some discouraging. However, with strong support from my family I selectively ignored the discouraging people and focused on improving my skills. Afterall art is not just my passion but it is the medium for giving me ultimate satisfaction and most important is peace of mind.

This artwork for which COLOUR WINGS ART ORGANIZATION has declared GOLD AWARD is based on the theme “SHRINGAR.”
The word “SHRINGAR” is used in context of Indian woman arraying themselves with ornaments and apply makeup to enhance their beauty.
Medium- Print Making, Linocut.
LINOCUT is also called linoleum art. It is a print making technique. In this art, I have depicted a woman doing SHRINGAR. Every woman wants to look beautiful. Word “SHRINGAR” is made of “SHRI”, which means “Lakshmi”, the goddess of wealth, beauty. SHRINGAR is generally related to Indian wedding which is one of the most significant and important day for a woman, it is the day that marks her transition into womanhood.
She says:
Art is all about dot, lines and colours living on canvas. A perfect combination of colour scheme helps an artist to bring the feelings & thoughts on canvas making a lively painting. In my art, I capture the beauty of dots, lines and textures.
